Fuerteventura is the 2nd largest of the Canary Islands and seems almost relatively untouched. Traveling inland you will find some lovely, traditional restaurants serving some of the best Canarian cuisine on the island. The beaches around the island are well known, and Fuerteventura features some of the longest beaches in the Canaries. There are various museums to visit as well as a beautifully well kept Zoo and Cactus Garden. A Water Park is situated in the North in Corralejo as well as a theme park and numerous things to do for the children. In general, Costa Caleta has a little something to suit both families with children or couples of any age and nationality.
