Running on a treadmill can cause people all kinds of damage. The most ordinary are ankle, knee and back injuries. Before you ever imagine of using a treadmill, be sure that you have a good pair of running shoes. These shoes are intended to raise comfort and reduce injury while running so it’s only common sense that you use them on your treadmill incline workouts.

Also, try to change your running shoes at least once a year. Though, your pair may not show much wear and tear on the outside, its shock absorbing ability (which weakens increasingly) will no longer be adequate beyond 500 miles.
