I like the idea of not just different ideas, but radical ideas. The term radical comes from earlier Greek and Latin terms that mean “root” or “at the root of things.” That is what radical ideas do - they get at the root of the matter. For example, many people might argue about how to fight a war or whether this or that war is worth fighting. But a more radical approach is to ask why war is necessary, and how it can be avoided altogether. Get ate the root of things and the ideas are not only more creative, but more satisfying.
