Islamic Art is well renowned for the beautiful calligraphy and geometric prints that it presents. One of the largest collections is displayed at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The museum houses Islamic art pieces by artists from all over the world. Their collection is now over 1700 art samples including various types of Islamic art. This collection is mainly focused on Iranian and Turkish pottery and tiles from the seventh to the thirteenth centuries. However, due to the display capacity of the museum, only 150 pieces of art work are exhibited currently. People living or visiting in the Los Angeles area should take advantage of this spectacular collection of art, which provides a diverse array of works by well known artists.
