Why I Write Funeral Thank You Notes
Writing funeral thank you notes keeps me normal these days. I write these thank you notes for the folks who paid last respect for my dear departed husband. I write these thank you notes as a reminder that even though I can’t talk to them yet, that I can’t still laugh and that I can’t still function normally, I am deeply grateful for their support. I write these notes because I know my departed husband would love this act- this appreciation of the people that took time to be part of our lives. I write these thank you notes to keep me moving, to help me with my grief, and to show that even during difficult moments, my love for my husband is still there.
