Much research has been conducted regarding the acai berry and researchers like what they see.  They have discovered that acai berries have the highest level of antioxidants of any berry in the world.  Bad news for the blueberry which was thought to have had the most antioxidants but it is good news for the rest of us!  We now know that the various acai berry pure products available for purchase will provide us with the nutrients we are looking for and in amounts much higher than any other product we can get our hands on.  Researchers have also found that the acai contains as many as 19 different amino acids and it contains as much protein as one egg.
