My son was in a serious car accident last year, involving several vehicles and including ours. While he was not at fault, we were disappointed with the unwillingness of our company to speed up the pay-out process. On top of that, our rates jumped significantly, even though this was his first accident. My husband and I have decided to look at online car insurance quotes  to see if we can find a better deal out there. With so many insurance companies wanting our business, I think we can do much better. I really like comparison shopping anyway because I can really see what the best deals are before I talk to a persuasive salesperson.
