I have been working hard on putting together some adventure package deals and I have just managed to secure a few rotorua motels as the accommodation houses for the packages. I may be a bit biased but I really think these will sell well. With the deals I have sourced from a number of tour operators and the pricings from the motels, there really is quite a big saving when going for one of these as opposed to booking them all individually. My next thing is to get them in to some of the tourism offices and travel agents around the country.

From the moment that we arrived and walked up the steps to the hotel the staff made us feel warm and welcome. My parents are the most wonderful, unselfish people in the world. They have devoted their lives to raising all of us and to trying to make the world a little better place for everyone to live in. My three brothers and I have decided to surprise them with a gift that they would never give themselves. We are sending them on an all expense paid trip to Hilton Head. By going through the Hilton Head Island Rentals, we were able to find them a charming little cottage right on the water. I know they will complain that we shouldn’t have done this, but once they get there, it will be a wonderful vacation that they truly deserve.

I have been a Boston Red Sox fan all of my life. I have lived in Connecticut all of my life, close to the evil Yankee empire. Each year me and my high school friends go up to Boson on my birthday to catch a Red Sox game in Fenway. The game was great and on the way back we stayed at providence hotel and partied. The hotel was great and very convenient for us after the game. They even gave us a free breakfast in the morning. It is always safer not to drive a long distance at night. Especially that night because we hit a massive rain storm. Thank goodness we found the providence hotel.

A friend of mine over in Rotorua owns a motel and he is absolutely loving the huge jump in his occupancy rates, as are others in the rotorua accommodation industry. I was having a chat to him the other day and he said that since the airport has been able to handle international flights his business has nearly doubled. Obviously it is a great thing for everyone in the region and also the surrounding areas. He was fortunate enough to have bought his place quite close to the airport, even though at the time he didn’t know about the plans for the airport upgrade. Stroke of good luck for him I guess.
