Well, seems that I’m at it again. I just got back from the mechanics shop and a bill for my radiator replacement is going to be very, very high. So high, that I don’t even want to comment on it online. I just had to rant and rave for a few minutes about this. This is got to be one of the most gosh awful experiences of my life.

My husband showed this video to his church class the other day which is a mormon cult classic. Once in a while I forget about the movie “Johnny Lingo”, but when anyone brings it up, I just have to laugh. The point of the movie is how much value women have and that it’s not what’s on the surface that matters. The lead female character is considered ugly, even by her father and he thinks he can’t sell her for more than one cow, but along comes the island’s heart throb Johnny Lingo and her dad can’t believe he offers 10 cows for her. Just being valued brings out her beauty (I know, the buying the woman thing doesn’t sound so great, but that was the culture). We watched it in Young Women’s and got a hand out saying, “On a scale of 1 to 10 cows, you are a 10!” I put it in some guys locker and I doubt he took it as a compliment. If you haven’t seen this mormon cult classic, give it a try.

I bought a new house last year. It was built in 1950. It has a full basement. Little did we know when we bought it that the basement has mold in it. When I started getting sinus problems and headaches and my husband was getting a sore throat, we decided to have the house checked for mold. Sure enough that was the problem. They told us it was from sump pump failure. We got it all cleaned up, which cost us $8000, and we were told submersible sump pumps are a must for basements like ours. We went and bought one and it keeps the basement pretty dry.

Well we had just arrived in town and were trying to find a car hire company. The first thing we found was an internet café, so we went in there and searched online for a place to get a car from.
