My girls and I volunteer at least once a week at a senior citizen home. Every time we visit we like to have a new activity but I think that the one that they really like is when I can put together songs that they remember. If I look on ares will they have the type of songs that I am looking for or is a downloaded website probably too new of an idea to have the older generation songs on them? I would love to give them the songs that they are asking for but I can not seem to find them anywhere.

We chose the Gulf Shores area of Alabama for our beach wedding. When we shared with family members they were ecstatic. It was close to home and offered lodging options for all of the guests who chose to stay over. We liked hiring beach wedding specialists who took care of everything we asked for. This freed us up to write invitations and take care of wardrobes. On our wedding day we were able to simply show up and have a relaxing ceremony which elicited many happy tears. We had a gorgeous and romantic Alabama beach wedding and recommend this for any couple who want to keep the romantic union as the focus.

I totally think jokey jokes are hilarious. Yes, they’re corny. Yes, they’re ridiculous, but people can’t help but listen and some of them are so bad they’re good. What am I grateful for every year at Thanksgiving? LAUGHTER! So every year I look up a bunch of Thanksgiving jokes and memorize them for the dinner table. It’s great for work Thanksgiving parties and just for annoying friend in a funny way.

Oh, on a totally seperate note. I totally didn’t see the guy from Denmark before he left. I just didn’t want things to get out of hand again. One more thing to be thankful for come Novemember. I’m thankful that I no longer make bad decisions about guys anymore! lol

I wonder if I can make a joke about that. Knock knock.

Jeannie and I did the Race For The Cure in Peoria again this year. It’s something we do every year with her mom and sister. Always a really cool time.

This year I decided to take my pocket recorder along so we could do some podcasts about the experience. We just got around to producing them this week. It’s in two parts, about 45 minutes each. Obviously, we couldn’t include every minute of the race. For one thing, that would be pretty boring. We did include some of the highlights of the morning though, and enough of the actual conversation while we were walking to give a flavor of the event.

I got a bunch of pictures that day too that we’ll put up on the Web somewhere.

I and my band are going to take a crucial step tonight for our musical dreams.  We are going to play some bits of songs at a public place.  We were invited to play at our school program this evening.  And this is the first time indeed for us to be playing in such a crowd aside from family gatherings.  I figure that this is something that’s going to be a huge step for us; we never know if somebody out there gets to discover us.  I’ll be my usual self of acting as the vocalist for our band.  Also I’ll be playing with my musical instrument of choice, tambourine.  I know that it’s not as vital as the guitar and drums.  But there is no way for our music to sound as it does without tambourine.

No matter where you are in the Smokies, there’s a nearby trail that plunges deep into the forest. Whether you prefer a well-marked trail or searching unfamiliar territory, mountain trails have the promise of fresh views and a probability to pursue in the footsteps of the Indians and pioneers who originally blazed them.  In the Smokies, it does not seem to matter how you get from one place to another or how long it demands to get there.  Take a heritage journey in the Smokies that off the beaten path. The highways and country roads offer up amazing views. The Cades Cove area is an uncommon place to travel to.  During the prime time of year of mid-October, the traffic on the one way Cove loop will come to a downright stand still at decisive positions.  It doesn’t appear to rile visitors for the most part though.  No one appears to be in a immense hurry when they’re in the Cove.  You can count on the traffic halting when a bear drifts into sight.  The cove is always pleasurable and always varying. If you come in early daybreak or are in that location at twilight you may view the deer grazing with the cows.  There is so very much Smoky Mountain nature to go through here. I suppose that is why visitors come back again and again.
