Troubleshooting for Paper Folding Machine Producing Wrinkled Paper
There are different reasons why paper comes out wrinkled from a paper folding machine. Listed are a few reasons why:
1. Check if the paper has been freshly printed which can cause wrinkling on it. Therefore, it is important to make sure that the ink has totally dried up and they are jogged properly before folding.
2. Accumulated dust and other particles can contribute to the paper’s wrinkles. This is because dirty fold rollers can’t get a good grip on the paper. Aside from wrinkles, this can also cause misalignment of the paper when it comes out.
3. Make sure that the fold plates are correctly configured. To fix this problem, you have to make sure that the machine settings are correctly done for the fold type that you want to achieve.
